We want to make sure that this Retirement & Investment Planning Made Easy class is a positive experience for you. Thousands of students have reported that they are much better off financially as a result of applying the information they learned in class.

Let’s discuss the class and the classroom environment:

The material we present to you in class is based on what we believe to be the essential elements of successful investing.

You will get out of class what you put into it. There is no homework, but we will suggest websites, books, and newspapers for you to explore. This will enhance your learning experience and make the classroom material more relevant for you.

We have been told repeatedly that the final lecture is worth many times the cost of the entire class. We highly encourage you to attend the final class as we will cover our core investment philosophy, which we call “Economic Hedging.” This is the strategy we have used for over thirty years to manage clients’ assets successfully through varied markets.

During our five weeks together, we are going to cover as much of the class outline as possible. Because of the amount of material we hope to cover, we are unable to answer any personal questions. Should you have a personal question, we will be happy to answer it before class or during the break.

We promise you no B.S., so please don’t be upset with us if we answer your question with an “I don’t know.” The field is vast– no one can know it all– and if we don’t know the answer, we will tell you so.

You can relax. As financial advisors, we are not here to sell you anything. We don’t sell mutual funds, insurance, books, CDs, or for that matter, anything else. We volunteer to teach this Five-Week Investment class in hopes of raising financial awareness in the community.

We hope that taking this class becomes a valuable educational experience for you. Additionally, we hope you will find it enjoyable, and maybe make a friend or two.

The class schedule is as follows, however, please be aware that we reserve the right to make changes to the class schedule:

Week One: Class Introduction & Philosophy Overview
Week Two: Mutual Funds & Exchange Traded Funds
Week Three: REITs & Gold
